I'm sure he will be using the "Feed the Irish their babies" defense, but that dog don't hunt.
Nowhere in the conversation was race brought up UNTIL BILL SAID IT IN THE QUOTE ABOVE.
Perhaps race is mentioned in the original source material (the "topic" was the impact on abiznortions on crime rates as described in the book Freakonomic)? You know, maybe it is. I have not read it. From their comments (Bill and the idiot on the phone) it is clear that they have not, either.
In fact, Bill is the one that brings up "crime." The caller is talking about how "abiznortions would help keep Social Security solvent."
Its Bill that then links CRIME to "black."
Clearly, then, for Bill, crime (like looters in New Orleans) IS African American. It EQUALS "black."
But look at what he says. If your sole purpose is to lower crime, abort every black baby.
Sunshine, that ain't no an elective procedure he's describing (excuse me, "free associating").
And, again, that is not what the caller is talking about nor is it the effect that Freakonomic is describing.
But, while we are here, let's see if he's right.
First, someone would have to define what "baby" means. Are we only talking about those still in the womb or is any child up to a certain age to be terminated.
OK, next, someone needs to get access to these babies and their mothers (assuming at least those in the womb would be targeted). Probably would need a large organization to put out the word and then round them up and any that wouldn't "volunteer."
Oh. Yeah. I bet there wouldn't be a whole lot of volunteering. Probably some violence associated with the "round up."
OK, so there would be violence *until* all the "babies" were eliminated.
But, it seems to me that human beings like sex and that would mean that babies were always going to be around so there would always be violence.
Hmmm. Well, that doesn't really work, does it Bill?
And maybe all this baby killing would incite violence against the "agency" performing this action. Probably would not be limited to just those individuals immediately impacted by this new policy.
Yeah, I'm thinking that as long as this policy is going on, there will be violence.
So, pretty much Bill, the only way for your hypothesis to be valid is if you eliminate all "blacks."
Bill? You realize that is what your are saying, right?
I mean, that is where *your* mind went. All on its own. With no help from your caller.
