Suddenly, I have this image in my head of Frank Castle (Tom Jane). He's writing his "statement of principles." I remember thinking what a bullshit scene that was. He had no reason to explain himself. Certainly, he needed only say that this wasn't revenge. That it was, indeed, punishment.

But why say anything at all? If he were to die, who would his audience have been? Would they have believed it anyway? More likely, anyone reading that tripe would have thought to themselves that this cat was in heavy denial about his situation.

Bullshit. Denial.

And that brings me to why I am here, writing this. This is for me. Something to keep my hands on the keyboard (and my mind off silly software development). Sure, I could keep a journal, but the illusion of an audience motivates me to keep writing (well, we'll see).
