OK, just read a report from the AP that was just amazingly enlightening:

A)      There’s an indoor basketball court *inside* the Supreme Court building (dubbed the “highest court in the land” – man, they need some better drugs in that building).

B)      Scalia has never presided over the court before this week (18 years in the dugout)

C)      Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada commented that he could support Scalia as Chief Justice

D)      Oh yeah, Clarence Thomas and Charles Barkley are friends (actually, I can see that. The whole “I ain’t a role model” thang).

Speaking of Clarence Thomas: OK, so, evidently Supreme is a basket ball fan. I’m wondering why he has kept his mouth shut while Rush Limbaugh is making comments like:

“…Detroit is the new Fallujah…” and “...they should call it the TBA. Thug’s Basketball Association…”

Come to think about, what has Sir Charles said about the Junkie’s comments? Oh, right. Thomas and Rush agree on most everything.

In the same article, they mention that Charles may run for governor of Alabama, some day. Can I tell you that I will move to Alabama and work on his campaign if that actually happens (I reserve the right to back out if my wife threatens to kill/divorce me). How cool would that be? Maybe he can get that ‘Bama constitution updated (Hmmmm, when was it that the south started turning toward the Republicans? Who was running for President, then? What’s Trent Lott doing these days?)…
